First Time I Saw Her

laughing

Prompt: Write about the first time you saw her.

First time I saw her, I thought no differently about her than any other girl.

She was pretty, but not in the stand-out-from-the-crowd kind of way.

But then she laughed.

And it was like the sky right after the sun has burst across the horizon.

And I couldn’t look away.

Because her eyes danced in a way that whispered of a million secrets

And dozens of delights only she knew about.

And it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen.
